We work hard to contribute to develop the Kwahu traditional area in Ghana. In many occasions has the Association provided hospital equipment to refurbish the Kwahu Atibie government hospital.

 

The Association also adopted the maternity and children’s wards at the hospital, moreover a mega musical concert was organised and used the proceeds to finance an orphanage home at Obomeng Kwahu.

 

The Association has good ties with the other Associations in America and Europe. It has a networking relation with Kwahuman Association UK/Ireland. This network gave birth to Kwahuman Europe all happened through the able initiative of Kwahuman Association of the Netherlands. The Association purchased  a set of jerseys and footballs in support of the only first division club in the eastern region “Okwahu United Football Club”. It is always with pride for one to boost off being a member of this great Association.

 

Kwahuman Association of the Netherlands, on 25th January, had the privilege in our General Meeting to welcome Ms. Karlijn Meeks, PhD in Research in Overweight and Obesity, from AMC Hospital in Amsterdam and Mr. Harrison Frimpong, who served as an interpreter on the occasion. The theme was on Overweight and Obesity, the risk and prevention.
